TIG FILLER WIRE 4043 ALUM - 5% SILICON 2.4MM 5kg PCK

4043 TIG rod is a nominal 5% silicon alloy suitable for TIG welding of a wide range of cast and wrought aluminium alloys. It is extensively used for welding aluminium alloy castings. It has a lower weld deposit strength but excellent crack resistance. Used for many general construction and automotive applications. Also used for welding aluminium busbars.

Argon is recommended for all TIG welding applications, however, the use of Alushield He10, Alushield Light and Alushield Universal will provide better penetration, greater heat input and faster welding speeds especially on thicker material.
